The old hymn Blessed Assurance is familiar and popular –

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.
     Fanny Crosby wrote those popular words to describe the feeling we have when we walk with Jesus.  Jesus is mine!  We find those familiar words also speak well, to how we feel about Stewardship – Giving Back to God.
   We are blessed to have the assurance that God will help supply the needs of our church – today, tomorrow, and beyond. You and all the members and friends of Epworth, give generously to help this church hum. Your response to our Imagine the Possibilities Capital Campaign last year was tremendous and those gifts are a blessing to us and we thank you.
   During the month of May we’re looking at how blessed we are to have Epworth Church!  But we also realize to have this church, we need to support the Epworth Mother Ship – our General Fund and Operating Budget.  How do you feel blessed in your life?  Where has God used Epworth Church to bring you the assurance of God’s love?  Think and pray about how God is leading you to respond with generous hearts and gifts for all your blessings!
    The response to Rev. Vicky’s sermon on May 5th was tremendous – so check it out, if you weren’t in church that Sunday…. CLICK HERE
