A WAY FORWARD

A Biblical Approach to Affirming LGBTQ Inclusion is a day-long Bible Study Session that has been developed and will be facilitated by members of the Reconciling Ministries Bible Study at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach.
The facilitators of Epworth’s Reconciling Ministries Bible Study Class will be offering two day-long Bible Study classes on A BIBLICAL APPROACH TO A WAY FORWARD AFFIRMING LGBTQ INCLUSION in the life and mission of the United Methodist Church.
The event will include three presentations followed by discussion time:
  • Presentation #1 will place the issue of LGBTQ inclusion in its broader context, unwrapping the differences of Biblical interpretation with passages from the variety of translations. So, bring YOUR Bible!
  • Presentation #2 will examine three arguments against LGBT inclusion and responses to each.
  • Presentation #3 will present four fundamental Biblical Principles that support a policy of LGBTQ inclusion.
